Why managed IT has a user minimum and a monthly floor
The 15-user minimum and $2,000 monthly floor exist so documentation, monitoring, and a named desk remain viable. Bill is the greater of the calculated per-user total and the floor.

Per-user pricing still needs a base
Monitoring, secure documentation, onboarding, and a service desk that knows your environment have fixed costs. A three-user account priced only on headcount cannot support that model honestly.
The floor and minimum keep the relationship on the same operating standard as larger accounts.
How the calculator works
Choose a primary plan, set managed users at or above 15, and optionally add Lite seats for mailbox-only people. The estimate multiplies rates, then applies the $2,000 floor when the subtotal is lower.
Lite never stands alone. It only accompanies Starter, Security+, or Complete.
What this means for smaller teams
If you are under the minimum, talk to us. Sometimes a phased plan or a different scope is the honest answer. We would rather explain the economics than stretch a model until service quality suffers.

Is the floor the same in every region?

Do projects count toward the floor?
No. Projects are scoped separately. The floor applies to the managed services monthly billing model.
